India and the very pitiable heathen of Africa. She explained
the cradle roll. (See corresponding secretary's report.)
    Mrs. White in her temperance talk said that intemperance
could be fostered in many ways, and this fact ought not to be
lost sight of. To be temperate, keep pure thoughts, live good
lives, and we will move the world.
    Mrs. Anna Brown, a missionary on her way to Africa, was
introduced and made a few remarks.
    Mr. Willis Johnson, father of Mrs. Rankin, our secretary,
was introduced.
    Song, "Over the Ocean Wave."
                        SUNDAY NIGHT.

    Voluntary, Prof. Quarles.
    Anthem, "Daughter of Zion."
    The devotional exercises were conducted by Mrs. Eva Stone,
Mrs. Pine and Mrs. Woodson.
    Singing, "Just As I Am."
    Prayer by Mrs. Pine.
    Singing, "Throw Out the Life-line," Mrs. Ella Buckner
    Mrs. Sada Anderson held the audience's interest for more
than a half hour while she described her trip to Cuba, what she
saw there, and the work to be done. She described the effects
of Catholicism as she saw it in Cuba.
    Song by African choir.
    After the collection, Bishop B. W. Arnett installed the offi-
cers for the coming year, and the convention adjourned to meet
at Wilberforce in July, 1904.
