of the work and the outlook. She commended the plan of giving
banners. She ended her address by having the convention sing
"The Child of a King."
    Mrs. Clark then read an appeal for Payne Seminary, and
re-read the letter from Mrs. L. J. Coppin.
    The Committee on Appropriation reported and was thanked
by Mrs. Woodson on behalf of the seminary and its dean.
    It was moved and seconded that the president be empowered
to draw from the treasury at pleasure, for the purpose of paying
her expenses for visiting any place that she may desire. (Carried.)

    Devotional exercises conducted by Mrs. Sada J. Anderson,
of Fort Robinson, Neb.; Mrs. Minnie Waters, of Lebanon, Ohio;
and Miss Carrie Weakley, of Cedarville, Ohio.
    Singing, "Jesus Savior Pilot Me."
    Prayer by Miss Carrie Weakley.
    Singing, "All Hail the Power of Jesus' Name."
    Scripture Reading, 121st Psalm, by Mrs. Minnie Waters.
    Singing, "Blessed Assurance."
    The nominating committee was selected. It was moved
and seconded that there be three, Mrs. Laura Webb, chairman,
Mrs. Margaret Tate, and Mrs. Edna Woodson.
    While the nominating committee was conferring, the report
of the Committee on Memorial was heard.
    Singing, "Looking this Way."
    Mrs. Sada J. Anderson suggested that we listen to the
different methods of conducting M. M. S. Miss Carrie Weak-
ley, of Cedarville, spoke and presented many valuable devices.
