Thursday--8.30 P. M.
The evening session opened with Mrs. B. M. Carson
presiding, choir and congregation singing "All Hail the
Power of Jesus' Name." Prayer by the pastor, Rev. T. D.
Scott, A. M.; the choir chanting the Lord's Prayer at the
Mrs. Sarah Smith, President of the local society, made
the welcome address in a most hearty fashion, Mrs. Ford
responding in our behalf. The local society rendered the
following program: Solo, Miss Sarah McGee; Paper, Miss
Lillian Watts, which was highly appreciated; selection by
the choir; an interesting talk by Mrs. I. B. Taylor on Ju-
venile Wodk; reading by Mr. Frank Hall, The Vagabonds;
Solo, Mrs. Ophelia Rogers. At the conclusion of the pro-
gram the President delivered her annual address which re-
ceived the appreciation of the audience. Mrs. T. D. Scott
and Mrs. O. R. Williams were appointed a committee on
the address. Rev. T. D. Scott made the closing remarks,
extending to us a further welcome.

Friday--8 A. M.
Devotional exercises were conducted by Mrs. Broadis, of
Allen Temple, and Mrs. Wilson, of Batavia. Special prayer
was offered for the sick among our workers.
The minutes of Thursday afternoon and evening were
read and adopted with necessary corrections.
Mrs. Tush displayed the fancy work, the most of
which had been sent by the Intermediate Society of Allen
Temple and St. Paul Juniors.
Reports received from Cambridge of $2.50 sent; $1.50
was given to Contingent Treasurer and $1 to Conference
Treasurer. Also from Frankfort, which place sent $1; of
this, 50 cents to one and 50 cents to the other. Mrs. Ford
reported for Mrs. Johns $2 for Payne Seminary and $1 for
Mrs. Kinney made a partial report as Contingent Treas-
urer. Mrs. Caliman made report as Conference Treasurer,
and Mrs. Rogers as Corresponding Secretary. All reports
adopted. Also report from Brown Chapel local society.
