Constitution of Annual Conference

                W. M. M. Society.


  (Paragraph 262 of Doctrines and Discipline of the A. M. E.
               Church, twenty-second Edition.)

            ARTICLE  I.--OBJECT OF THE SOCIETY.
    The object of the Annual Conference Women's Mite Mission-
ary Society is to act as an auxiliary body to the Parent Women's
Mite Missionary Society of the A. M. E. Church according to the
constitutional provisions of the latter.

                  ARTICLE  II.--OFFICERS.
    The officers of this society shall consist of a president, two
vice-presidents, two recording secretaries, one correspond-
ing secretary, a treasurer and an executive board of five, all of
whom shall be elected annually at the convention by ballot.

            ARTICLE III.--DUTIES OF OFFICERS.
    The duty of the president shall be to preside over the Annual
Conventions, call extra sessions at the request of one-third of the
members, oversee the execution of the spirit of this constitution,
draw orders on the treasurer for all funds of the society, accord-
ing to the constitution, and report every order drawn to the
recording secretary.  She may travel through any part of the
work if so ordered by the convention or on her own option. The
vice presidents shall perform the duties common to the office.
    The recording secretaries shall record the acts of the con-
vention in a regular and orderly book, countersign all orders
drawn on the treasurer by the president, recording said orders
fully described and forward the same to the treasurer.
    The corresponding secretary shall correspond quarterly with
the corresponding secretaries of the auxiliaries of her conference
district, and the corresponding secretary of the P. W. M. M.
