ing. Beside the members, the convention may include one dele-
gate from every auxiliary society, and for those societies having
more than twenty members one delegate for every twenty mem-
bers or a fraction thereof. The duties of the convention shall
be: (1) To hear reports from all auxiliary societies in its
respective jurisdiction. (2) To receive all funds collected for
its sustenance or other purposes. (3) To render a dignified and
thoughtful program, remembering always to give such time to
spiritual services.  (4) To  devise  and  formulate  plans  for
strengthening and extending the work. (5) To stimulate sub-
scriptions to the "Voice of Missions."  (6) At the fourth con-
vention in each fiscal quadrennium of the A. M.E. church to elect
five persons in its jurisdiction, delegates to the quadrennial con-
vention of its Episcopal district, and (7) To provide for the
traveling expenses of these delegates and of the delegates to the
P. W. M. M. Quadrennial Convention.
    The expensesof the Conference W.M.M. Convention shall not
come out of regular dues,but must be provided for by special efforts.

          ARTICLE VI.--DISBURSEMENT OF FUNDS.
    All funds received from admission fees, membership dues,
auxiliaries and all such other funds as may be paid to this society,
shall be disbursed forty per cent. to the treasurer of the P. W.
M. M. Society and sixty per cent. to the missionaries in the
bounds of the Annual Conference, under the advice of the Bishop.
    Special funds may be raised for special local purposes.

                ARTICLE VII.--CERTIFICATES.
    The convention shall prepare and issue a certificate to be
given to members moving from one town to another, commending
them to the W. M. M. workers of the new town in which they
may settle.
                      BY-LAWS.
    By-laws not inconsistent with this constitution may be added
by the Convention.
