                       Temperance.

The Committee on Temperance submit the following report:
The women of the Ohio Conference Mite Missionary Society
place themselves on record, as advocates of total abstinence.
We deem it advisable to have at each convention a mission-
ary temperance pledge to be used in our rally, not only to impress
ourselves with the importance of total abstinence standards, but
to impress the young with its worth.
We recommend the use of the following literature, to be
used, especially, in our Junior work: Union Signal, Loyal Tem-
perance Legion.
We feel assured that the way to save the race from the evils
of drunkenness, is to show the children the evils of this habit.
To this end, we advise the holding of temperance rallies in con-
nection with the Children's Mass Meeting.
                    TEMPERANCE PLEDGE.
I, the undersigned, do pledge my word and
honor, God helping me, to abstain from all
intoxicating liquors, as a beverage and that I
will by all honorable means, encourage others
        to abstain.
                       Respectfully,
                             MRS. MAYME ROSS,
                             MRS. MINNIE MOORE WATERS.

                         Literature.

We your Committee on Literature beg to submit the follow-
ing report:
We, your committee, appreciate very highly, our own mis-
sionary paper, The Voice of Missions, and would most cordially
