Woman's Mite Missionary Society, Minutes of the Seventh Annual Convention, Cincinnati, 1903

42 WOMAN'S M. M. SOCIETY

Resolved, That we render a vote of thanks to the choir for
their excellent music, hoping that it will be theirs to sing the
new song when done with life.
Resolved, That the thanks of this convention be tendered
our retiring treasurer, Mrs. Jennie Higgins, and our lecturer,
Mrs Susie I. Shorter, for their untiring efforts in building up the
work committed to their care. Hoping that it will be the will
of the Lord to speedily restore them to perfect health, and that
a letter of sympathy be sent each on account of her inability to
be with us.
Resolved, That we congratulate our president upon her
re-election and pledge her our best efforts for the incoming year.
At its hour of closing, the convention was saddened by the
following telegram: "Mrs. Ferguson very ill." The committee
represents the convention in a fervent prayer for the restoration
of Sister Carrie Ferguson of Mt. Vernon Church, Columbus, if
it be our Father's will.
                                   MRS. SADA ANDERSON,
                                   MRS. LILLIE WHITE,
                                   MRS. FRANKIE TALBERT.
