DAILY RECORD OF PASSING EVENTS on Eustatia Plantation,
      during the week commencing on the 1st day of January 1860
                           George R. Clark  Overseer.  

the 1st  Sunday.  This day verray cold & clear  Snow 
         on the ground  The Negroes all at rest 

                                       1 sick
the 2    Monday.  This day clear & verray cold  all hands
         working in the new ground

                                       3 sick
the 3    Tuesday.  This day clowdy & cool  all hands working 
         in the new ground

                                       3 sick
the 4    Wednesday.  This day clowdy and pleasant  The 
         same work to day as yesterday 

                                       3 sick
the 5    Thursday.  This day clowdy and warm.  7 hands
         pressing cotton  4 bales pressed to day  4 hands
         at the saw mill  2 in the blacksmith shop
         The ballance of the hands picking cotton
         Mr Charles Belfor borrowed barrells lime
              The some has been paid    3 sick  
the 6    Friday.  This day clowdy & cold  4 hands at the 
         saw mill  2 at the blacksmiths shop  4 halling
         cord wood  The ballance of the hands picking
         cotton

                                         3 sick
the 7    Saturday.  This day clear & pleasant  all hands  
             working in the new ground except 4
             at the saw mill 2 at the blacksmith
              shop                       3 sick
