DAILY RECORD OF PASSING EVENTS on Eustatia Plantation,
      during the week commencing on the 25 day of March 1860
                      George R. Clark    Overseer.

the 25  Sunday.  This day clear & pleasant  The
        Negroes all at rest  The river still falling



                                                    2 sick

the 26  Monday.  This day clear & cool and verray
        smoakey  The river still falling  it is about
        6 feet below the top of the bank  13 ploughs
        runing.  The woman working in the new ground
        4 men makeing picketts  2 choping cord wood
        3 working at the saw mill                 3 sick
the 27  Tuesday.  This day clear & cool with frost  The 
        river still falling  The same work as
         yesterday



                                                    3 sick
the 28  Wednesday.  This day smoaky and cool with
        frost this morning  All the corn killed
         The river still falling  it is about 
        12 feet below top of bank.  The same
        work to day as yesterday
                                                    2 sick
the 29  Thursday.  This day cold with forst this morning
        The same work to day as yesterday
        The river still falling.  Mrs Eustis had
        the property of this place appraised to day by 
        Mesers quinn, Davis, Langley and Judge hayes
                                                    2 sick
the 30  Friday.  This day cool with frost this morning  The
        same work to day as yesterday  River still 
        falling



                                                    1 sick
the 31  Saturday.  This day clowdy with the apearance
        of rain  The same work to day as yesterday
        River still falling
