      during the week commencing on the 15  day of April   1860
                          George R. Clark  Overseer.

the 15  Sunday.  this day verray warm & clowdy
        the Negroes all at rest



                                            3 sick

the 16  Monday.  this day clowdy & warm. 14 hands planting
        cotton 8 ploughs runing in the young corn
        the hoe hands in the young corn 3 harrows
        runing befour the cotton planters
        Rain this Evening
                                            2 sick

the 17  Tuesday.  Rain last night. the samame work
        to day as yesterday
        this day clowdy & warm
                                            3 sick



the 18  Wednesday.  this day clowdy & warm the 
        sam work to day as yesterday





                                            3 sick

the 19  Thursday.  this day clear & pleasant 14 hands
        planting cotton 23 hands hoeing corn 8
        ploughs in the corn 1 man working on
        new quarters

                                            3 sick

the 20  Friday.  the same work as ysterday





                                            3 sick

the 21  Saturday.  this day clear and warm. 3 finished
        working the corn to day and finished
         planting cotton to day. 3 planted 550 acres
         in cotton. first cut on the river. 115 acres second
        100. third 90 forth 80 fifth 80 sixth 80 which
        545 acres
