DAILY RECORD OF PASSING EVENTS on Eustatia           Plantation,
      during the week commencing on the 4th day of Nov    1860
                                                Overseer.

                    4  Sunday.      Shipped 21 bales of cotton per Vicksburg



                
                    5  Monday.                Mr Butler discharged to day.  Stepney Jim William
Linsy died                            Old Peter Claiborne Anderson Dick pressed out 20 bales
                                      of cotton.  Tom madey coffin and helped Basil dig grave. 
                                      Linsey's children at the quarter on account of her death.  Jackson hauling
                                      wood 1/2 a day.  Peter & Nelson hauling seed.  3 sick.  Balance picking cotton

                    6  Tuesday.                              Stepny Jim, William, Old Peter, Claiborne, Anderson Dick pressed
                                                      out 12 bales so as to clear the lint room and afterwords moved seed.  Jackson
                                                      hauled wood.  Peter & Nelson hauled seed.  4 sick.  Balance picked 
                                                      cotton.


                    7  Wednesday.                              Commenced raining at 11 1/2 Oclk.  Jim William Old Peter Dick Claiborne
                                                      at the gin.  Jackson hauled wood.  Little Peter & Nelson hauled seed & corn.  5 sick
                                                      Balance picked cotton till the rain and then for the rest of the day shucked &  
                                                      shelled corn and ground axes.  Tom jobbin   

Opened 1 bar pork   8  Thursday.                                 Rained often during the day.  Jim, Patsy Ann, Old Peter, Claiborne,
    5 sick                                             Dick at the Gin.  Nelson & women gathered corn.  Lit. Peter hauled corn.  Jackson
                                                       hauled wood.  Balance in the new ground.  Tom jobbing


    5 sick          9  Friday.                                Rain during the day.  Nelson Lit Peter and the sucklers gathered corn.  
                                                       Jim Old Peter Patsey Ann - Dick Claiborne & Joe Claiborne at the Gin.  Jackson
                                                       hauled wood.  Balance in the new ground.  Tom jobbing


    4 sick         10  Saturday.                              Jim William Old Peter Stepney Elijah Patsey Ann Dick Green pressed out 
                                                       19 bales of cotton.  Peter hauled cotton to the Point.  Jackson hauled with the oxen.
                                                       Tom jobbing.  Maria Anderson & Polly sewing sacks of cotton seed.  Balance picked
                                                       cotton but no weight was taken.
