Union Association of Colored Men of New Richmond, Ohio. Minute Book
			
18 Monday Dec. 1 1857

   Meeting called to order.  Pres. in 

the chair.  Chaplain invoked divine 

mercy.  The Roll was then called when 

all but four members responded to their names  

Wm. T. Wilson sent in dues and was excused  

The Board of Directors through the Sec. 

reported progress in matter of Incorporation.  

An inquiry was instituted to discover if 

possible why according to vote the 

law & By Laws were not ready for 

print.  The Sec. was instructed to have 

written copy prepared by Thursday Dec 

10th 1857  After discussing some slight 

matter the meeting adjourned.


         New Richmond Dec. 21st 1857

Meeting called to order.  Pres. in the 

chair.  Roll was then called when all 

the members an the city answered to 

their names.  The report of committee 

on printing stating that they had 

bargained to have 200 copies of 

Law & By Laws finished at a cost of 

six dollars was adopted.  

On motion of Mr. Wm. R. Casey it was 

resolved that we the Society give a 

Social Supper on the first Monday 

in the holidays.  Mr. H. Fox, Devlin 

Mathews, Wm. Layton, J. Orritt, A. Tone, 

Wm. R. Casey were appointed a committee 

to consider the matter of supper  

On motion adjourned
