  also read & nineteen names added to the 

  list of members

   The committee retuned and reported the 

  following minute and Resolutions 

   which were seperately considered 

  and unanimously adopted

	At a meeting of the Ripley 

  A.S.S. held at Red Oak meetiting house 

  on thursday the 11th day of Augus 1836 

  to take into consideration the alarming 

  state of things occasioned by the spirit of 

  mobocracy that is a broad in the land 

  and especially the late procedings of the 

  mob at Cincinnatti.  After hearing 

  a general history of the procedings both 

  before and at the time of the distruction 

  of property by the mob are now ready 

  to express an opinion, which they do 

 as a Society and as individuals in the 

  following resolutions
