  Those addreses were lisened to with much 

   attention & interest

     On motion the Constitution of the 

   Society was read, and an invitation 

   given fo any present who were notmem

   bers to hand in their names when Nine 

   names were handed to the Secretary
  
     The following Question was proposed 

    for discusion : Should Abolitionists

    advocate any plan that may be propo

   -sed for abolishing slavery by expatriation

			      (sending the away)


     Resolved that this be the subject of dis

   -cusion for our next meeting & that the friend, 

    of expatriation be envited to attend and 

    take part in the discusion


       Ajorned to meet in the Presbiterian 

    Church in Ripley on the 3rd wednes

    day of April next at 11 oclock

	     Closed with prayer
