10th Resolved Tht the blood of the martyred

lovejoy cried from the ground for the immediate

abolition of slavery and that in view of his

death we solemnly pless ourselves to renewed

exertions in the caus of liberty

    On motion ordered that a coppy of the

above resolutions be forwarded to the editors

of both the papers printed in this county

also to the editors of Philathropist and

Cincinnati Journal with with a request

to each that they publish them in their

respective papers

on Motion ordered that a committe be appoin

ted to collect and publish the facts in the

case of Eliza Jane Johnston a free woman

of Ohio, who was kidnapped in Ohio carried

to Kentucky and is now in bondage, and

that s committee endearvour through the

Governer of this State or some othe legal

way to restore her again to liberty
