esteem. At the close of the address, I organized the Allen Christian En-
deavor League with 19 members.
Corydon, Ind.-On Wednesday, June 29, I arrived in this historic village,
county seat of Harrison Co., Rev. Wm. Kelly, our loyal, true and tried, met
me and very soon I was at the parsonage, seated under an apple tree, think-
ing of the good old summer time. Mrs. Kelly is a lady of rare excellence,
skilled in music and is the organist for St. Paul. On Wednesday night,
June 29th a large audience met me in St. Paul of which Rev. Kelly is the
faithful and successful pastor. I earnestly hope some good was done. The
Review was represented and received a warm welcome; subscribers secured.
Rev. Kelly is a life time subscriber, he stated that he could not be without
the Review. Corydon is quite a historic village, Indiana's first capital.
The old State House which was erected in 1811, is still in use. An old elm
tree, under which the State Constitution was written is also in use affording
shade to the weary passer-by on a summer day. The writer found a com-
fortable seat here on Friday July 1, 1910.
Paducah, Ky.--On Saturday, July 2, I arrived in this city, noted for its
beautiful homes, clean streets, and well-paved walks. I received a warm
welcome at the comfortable parsonage, which is being occupied for the
fifth consecutive year by Rev. and Mrs. G. W. Robinson. Rev. Robinson
is the faithful and successful pastor of Burke Chapel. On Sunday, July 3,
at the eleven o'clock morning service an enthusiastic audience greeted me
at Reid Chapel, Rev. J. J. Jacobs, pastor. I earnestly hope some one was
benefited by this visit. Allen Christian Endeavor League was organized
with 37 members. At 7:00 p. m. a most interesting audience met me at
Burke Chapel. At the close of the address I organized an Allen Christian
Endeavor League with 22 members. Prof G. W. Jackson, (Principal of the
city public school) was elected president. We earnestly ask that all Leaguers
will pray for this and all of our newly organized Leagues. On Wednesday
night, July 6th, a large audience greeted me in St. Paul A. M. E. church,
Rev. Tolbert, pastor. At the close of the address an Allen Christian
Endeavor League was organized with 23 members.
Mayfield, Ky.-On Friday, July 8th, I arrived in this enterprising town,
whose population numbers 30,000. I received a very warm welcome at
the home of Rev. and Mrs. Green Price and their very interesting children.
On Saturday, July 10th it was my good fortune to address three audiences
in St. James church, of which Rev. Green Price is the faithful, successful
and esteemed pastor; black and white alike highly respect him. On Friday
night, July 15, an Allen Christian Endeavor League was organized with
18 members. The Review was represented and subscribers secured.
Fulton, Ky., and Tenn.-On Saturday, July 16th, I arrived in this town
where the State line divides Kentucky and Tennessee. The post-office is
just three doors from the line on the Kentucky side. St. Paul A. M. E.
church is on the Tennessee side. On Sunday, July 17th, at 11:00 a. m., an
appreciative audience greeted me in St. Paul church, Rev. T. H. Hamilton,
