  STATEMENT CONCERNING THANK OFFERING
  After many spirited and helpful suggestions on part of
members, the convention decided to establish the thank
offering in our convention rather than to continue the idea
of giving to "Self-denial Fund," for how often have we
many things that we can not find words to express our
gratitude to God, but by this means we may give our
earthly substance to further the work of the extension of
His Kingdom, and thus in some measure demonstrate our
gratefulness.
 We sincerely hope other conference branches may adopt
this idea and that the women of our church, as the women
of other churches, may make the "thank offering" a tell-
ing asset in doing more missionary work.
