Placed in my hands at the close of the last convention
$5.60; received this year $2.40; total $8. I ask the prayers
of the whole convention that God may bless our work and
our officers, and beg to be relieved of this duty, but will
continue to do all in my power.

We, your Committee on Special Work, submit the fol-
The minister of today might be educated, but the minis-
ter of tomorrow must be educated. A large pre cent. of
the ministers of our church are being educated at Payne
We know the great need of repairs to Payne Seminary.
We wish that each member of the convention could really
see how greatly needed are repairs on this building, and
would get the imprint on their hearts to such an extent
that they would be willing to take more time to work for
the remodeling, and we implore you to continue as the
special work of this convention the remodeling of Payne
