and guided by His Almighty Hand we come to the close
of this convention with grateful hearts.
Resolved, That we extend to each and every one who
contributed to the comfort of this convention our heart-
felt thanks. Especially do we desire to thank Rev .and Mrs.
Ira Collins,, trustees, officers and members of this church;
also the local society, for their cordial hospitality and the
splendid choir of this church for beautiful music rendered.
Resolved, That we extend to our beloved President, Mrs.
Edna Woodson, our highest appreciation for her spendid
address and her impartial ruling.
Resolved, That we thank the Presiding Elder of Colum-
bus District, Rev. S. P. West, for valuable services ren-
dered various local societies during the year and during
this session.
Resolved, That we extend our sympathy, through our
Corresponding Secretary, to Mrs. T. H. Jackson, in her
recent illness; that we express for Mrs. B. W. Carson, Mrs.
O. K. Williams, Mrs. J. N. Carroll and Mrs. G. K. King-
field, our appreciation of their personal services, and heart-
ily commend the Juvenile reports by Mrs. Johns and Mrs.
Tush.
Last, but not least, Be it further resolved, That we pray
the choice blessings of heaven upon the manly little pages
who played their part so well.
