Letter from Jacob Bruner to Martha J. Bruner
			
dollars which Mrs. J.C. Banks paid you.  
When I left the Regt I left it with Kriss for him.  Banks Jo 
Longberry & one or two others having gone to run the blockade at 
Vicksburgh.  I did not see him when I started.  I do not know 
whether they got through safe or not.
I have received no letters from the 68th and no letters from home 
since they started but may get some letters to-day.  No doubt 
there are some letters from you now at the regiment for me.  W.R. 
Snook is still Ward Master at Memphis Hospital.  
We are still recruiting and drilling in the 9th.  After the 
battles in the vicinity of Vicksburgh we can no
