             Lines to the A. M E. Review.

               BY REBECCA S. M'CANTS.

          All hail! to thee, virgin fair,
          Who for years a score and five
          Hast entered many homes,
          Adorning them with beauty and with grace.
          Thy sapient lines, wherever read,
          Like perfumes rich and rare,
          Leave lasting traces in each memory.
          On this, thy natal day, we pay thee homage;
          May heaven speed  thy way,
          And spare thee long
          A benefactress of mankind.
