      for the
Advancement of Colored People

June 28, 1917.

Lieut. - Col. Charles Young,
Letterman Hospital,
San Francisco, Cal.

My dear Young:

          We will take all possible
steps to bring your case to the notice
of the authorities.

          Meantime, don't worry.
Get a good rest. It will certainly not
hurt you, and be as contented as you can.
Everybody has been asking about you.

I am in good health and
Mrs. Du Bois and Yolande join me in best
regards. I shall write again soon.

							With best love,

							Very sincerely yours,
WEBD/GRB
