Colonel Charles Young,
Wilberforce, Ohio.

Dear Colonel Young:-

I thought you might be interested in the enclosed copy of
letter I have just written to one of your friends in Columbus,
Ohio.

While writing, I want to acknowledge receipt of yours of
October 29th which reached me just as I was leaving for an
official visit to some of the Southern cantonments. I shall
hope to be writing you from Washington within the next week or
ten days.

					Yours very truly,

					Emmett Scott
