Letter from Emmett J. Scott to Dr. W.S. Scarborough

						War Department,
						Washington.

						August 16, 1918.

Dr. W.S. Scarborough, President,
Wilberforce University,
Wilberforce, Ohio.

Dear Dr. Scarborough:

I hope to see you at the Business League meeting. I hope
that after the meeting we can talk over the matters referred
to in your letter of August 10.
Colonel Young's matter is coming along satisfacotrily
as you have doubtless learned.
I thank you very much indeed for your kind words with
respect to the work I am trying to do here in the War De-
partment.

						Yours very sincerely,

						Emmett Scott

							Special Assistant.
