Dear Col.

	You can see the inclose and 
return same, Wean and Praters 
came for the prisoners by orders 
of the Major, and refused to take 
them until it was night, they 
said that one guard man was enough t
he were not f.... from 
Camp when they send to inform 
me that one had escapet, the 
one that was badly whiped, Praters 
had hold on him going in when 
he excaped.  Capt. Burgh reported me 
to the Major for allowing Mr. Mitchell 
privilage in Camp and that every-
thing going on in Camp write 
you and Mitchell the Major also 
wrote the same to the Sect of War; 
he charge me also for having private 
talk with Mitchell in camp.
