Col. Charles Young,

        Dear Sir:

                 The Board of Directors of the

Appomattox Club has instrusted me to inform you

that because of your long and distinguished service

and record in the Army of our Country and because of 

your excellent worth, your courtesy to the Club and the

high esteem in which the members hold you, you have been

elected an honorary member of the club with all rights

and priveleges thereof.

Your acceptance of this membership will be deemed an

honor by the members.
