No. 175. 						Washington, July 30, 1917.

						Extract.

52.  By direction of the President, Lieut. Col. Charles
Young, 10th Cavalry, is placed on active military duty under
the provisions of the next to the last proviso of section 24.
act of Congress approved June 3, 1916, to take effect on the 
date following his retirement from active service.  Colonel
Young will continue on duty with the Organized Militia of
Ohio.
