W.Q. Atwood (1839- )

Description:  Print of W.Q. Atwood (1839- ), lumber merchant and orator. Freed from slavery by the will of his master (father), Atwood journeyed to Ripley, Ohio in 1853. He attended an African-American school in Ripley.
